Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup plus 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- ¼ cup plus 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tablespoons orange juice
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup caramel filled chocolate chips or regular chocolate chips
- Cream together butter and sugars
- Add egg, orange juice and vanilla
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture
- Chill for at least 30 minutes
- Drop dough by the tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet
- bake at 350 for 9 to 12 minutes until set and golden brown
