Pear and Maple Oatmeal Crisp #DessertChallenge

Ingredients
  • Filling
  • 2 medium pears, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon candied ginger, grated
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ water
  • Topping
  • 1 cup oats
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup butter, melted
Instructions
  1. Place pear slices, ginger, nutmeg, lemon juice and water in a 8x8-inch dish or divide between individual cassolettes.
  2. Mix topping ingredients together and distribute evenly on top of fruit.
  3. Bake at 375 for approximately 60 minutes until fruit is soft and topping has set.
