Pear and Maple Oatmeal Crisp #DessertChallenge
- Filling
- 2 medium pears, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 Tablespoon candied ginger, grated
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ water
- Topping
- 1 cup oats
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup butter, melted
- Place pear slices, ginger, nutmeg, lemon juice and water in a 8x8-inch dish or divide between individual cassolettes.
- Mix topping ingredients together and distribute evenly on top of fruit.
- Bake at 375 for approximately 60 minutes until fruit is soft and topping has set.
