1lbturkey sausagecasing removed, broken into 1-inch pieces
3cupssliced cabbage
2cupssliced Swiss chard
1cupsliced onion
1 tbspvegetable oil
1tbspbutter
1/2tspfresh or dried thyme
1/2tspseasoned salt
1/4 tspfreshly ground pepper
1/4 cupchicken broth
Instructions
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat for about 1 minute. Add sausage, cabbage and onions. Fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring to break up and brown sausage and wilt cabbage and onions.
Add butter, chard, thyme, salt, pepper and broth. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally until turkey is fully cooked and vegetables tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
