Berry Pretzel Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • crust
  • 1 cup crushed pretzel pieces
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • filling
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberry slices
  • jello topping
  • 1 3 ounce package strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions
 

  • Combine pretzel pieces, melted butter and sugar in a medium-sized bowl. Spread and press mixture into an 8x8-inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool on rack before adding next layer.
  • Cream together sugar and cream cheese in a bowl until smooth. Spread over pretzel layer. Top with strawberry slices. Chill until set.
  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Chill. When partially set, spoon over dessert. Chill at least 4 hours until firm. Allow to set at room temperature about 4 to 5 minutes before cutting to serve.
