You have been hearing me talk about #FallTasteParty2013 for weeks! Well Sunday October 20th I had my first tasting party and it was a huge success!
I had the pleasure of showcasing new as well as popular products from a wonderful array of sponsors.
I was so fortunate to have my friends and family attend. Everyone was given a program with a score card and asked to rate each product on a scale of 1 to 5. Open comments were welcomed too!
Enter the Rafflecopter below for your chance to win the tasting products featured at the live party!
Here was the lineup:
I had to try a pinch before the fun started!
A special thanks to SweetStackers for supplying the stacking system to transport the desserts!
I received free product for the tasting party and giveaway without further compensation from the above sponsors. Opinions are my own. Prizes subject to change without notice.
This month The Recipe ReDux is challenging us to use our slowcookers in a new way. Skip the soup and ditch the casserole! Members were asked to get creative with our cookers and try our hands at breakfast lunch or dinner keeping in mind the goal of our recipes: redo meals into more healthful versions of new and old favorites! I chose a twist on applesauce by cooking fresh apples with cling peaches. I added a bit of unsweetened juice and a little bit of allspice to spice up!
Ingredients
Place all ingredients in your slowcooker and cook on high for 2 hours, occasionally stir if necessary.
When apples are soft, puree with an immersion blender or remove from the crockpot and puree in a conventional blender.
Cool and serve as is or use in baked goods for an added flavor boost!
*use a natural sweeter variety like a Honeycrisp or Gala for a sweeter version.
