Fruits and Wine, France’s #1 aromatized wine based drink launch 3 new flavors in U.S – Leading the trend of unique blends of Rosé Wine and real fruit juice.

About Fruits and Wine:

Fruits and Wine, #1 in France and one of the world’s bestselling aromatized wine, makes no compromise on quality and uniqueness. Building on a noble heritage, Fruits and Wine is produced exclusively from Rosé wine and real fruit juice at Moncigale – located at the heart of three emblematic vineyards of southern France – Provence, Languedoc-Roussillon, and the Rhône Valley.
Fruits and Wine with the help of Marie Brizard’s flavor expertise, highlights 3 flavors that feature real fruit juice and infusions with no fruit syrup to produce all natural options of the Cherry Rosé, a delicious blend of rosé wine and cherry juice that delivers natural and delicately sweet notes; Grapefruit Rosé, a succulent blend of rosé wine and grapefruit juice that delivers its sweet and tart notes and the Strawberry Rosé, a luscious blend of rosé wine and strawberry juice that offers sweet and refreshing notes.
Fruits and Wine bottles also lend themselves to be enjoyed anywhere and anytime with easy to open screw tops that keep the product fresh for up to a month after opening.

My review:
I sampled Fruits and Wine brand Cherry Rosé and Strawberry Rosé. These wines remind me more of the wine coolers and fruit based wines of the seventies and eighties than sweeter wine varietals of today. Cherry Rosé has a bit of a fruity aftertaste but not entirely distinguishable as cherry. The flavor of strawberry does linger after drinking the Strawberry Rosé.

Lighter than a stand alone rosé wine and lower calorie content does have its appeal. A light choice for home entertaining.

You could serve these wines with a cheese tray paired with fruit.

Or take on a picnic. Kept chilled, of course.

Blueberry Ginger Parfaits #SundaySupper

Blueberry Ginger Parfaits stack fresh blueberries, creamy yogurt, ginger snaps and drizzled ginger syrup. A cool, anytime treat.
Blueberry Ginger Parfaits
You never know what will show up when you do a potluck get-together. If you are lucky, everyone will bring something they enjoy. That way you know when it’s over there are no leftovers. Ha!
We’ve all been to potlucks where you thought it was a potato salad party. Worse yet, you also brought potato salad.

I had a standing invitation to a friend’s potluck party that she held every July 4th. They went all out with fireworks done by local firefighters, hayrides, the pool was open and a fishing pond. Good times.

But there were rules. A sensible list of requests for guests.

  1. Do not bring meat. We do the meat.  This way no one wondered how long it was out of the fridge or if the meat was outdated.
  2. Pick a salad off the list. We will chill it. A quick call would get you your salad choice. No more potato salad parties.
  3. Bring dessert, beer, soda or wine. Better yet, bring napkins, paper plates, or kids outdoor games.
  4. Leave your pets at home. No sick dogs from sneaking bites off owner’s plates.

It was sad when my friends retired and moved out of state but we have great memories.

Today I like to take something healthier to potluck parties.

Blueberry Ginger Parfait

Blueberry Ginger Parfaits pack a punch with antioxidants, calcium and protein. Ginger snaps add spicy crunch. Light ginger syrup or honey drizzles a touch of sweetness.

I used Ginger People Ginger Syrup. Thanks for enlightening me, Camilla Mann from Culinary Adventures with Camilla 😉

Make these treats any size you like. Remember to take spoons along, just in case. I like the small sampler spoons. You can stick those spoons into any size cups.
