Strawberry BBQ Meatballs
What’s red, juicy, ripe, in season and oh so delicious? Florida Strawberries of course!

We all enjoy strawberry desserts like Strawberry Pie , Strawberry Crumb Bars and Strawberry Fritters .

Strawberries are so easy to prepare with no peeling or searching out seeds, so why stop with desserts?
It’s easy to add flavor and nutrition to your favorite dishes with fresh from Florida Strawberries.
I love to toss a few in salads. What would spinach salad be without strawberries?

Refreshing  low-cal strawberry smoothies top my list of fruit drinks. A little low-fat yogurt, strawberries, skim milk, ice and a drizzle of honey is all you need. Summer anytime!

Florida strawberries are a natural in hot cereals and yogurt parfaits for a breakfast packed with Vitamin C, folate, manganese and antioxidants.
Did you know 8 medium strawberries (about a cup) equal your daily requirement of vitamin C for under 50 calories?

The natural sweetness of strawberries lends a bright taste to chicken, fish and meat dishes. I pair strawberries and chicken in a Strawberry Pineapple Chicken Salad any time of year.

Florida Strawberries also make great sauces for fish. Strawberry and Balsamic reduction is so good over grilled or baked salmon. We drool at the thought of it!

Strawberry BBQ Meatballs platter

One of my favorite dishes is Strawberry BBQ Meatballs. Florida Strawberries flavored sauce soaks into the meatballs giving off a sweet and tangy taste in every bite! I use a blend of beef, pork and veal for the meatballs. Serve these moist, plump meatballs over multi-grain rice or pasta.

Tropical Cocktail Wings #SundaySupper

Tropical Cocktail Wings

Tropical Cocktail Wings

Tropical Cocktail Wings will wow your guests. Fast, easy and it’s party time! Serve them in a carved pineapple for extra special Holiday flair!

This week Sunday Supper wants to show you last minute entertaining doesn’t mean just setting out cheese and crackers! We’ve come up with over 30 ideas to make last minute guests feel extra special.

The holiday season schedule can be tough on us trying to include everyone and not forget anyone! I admit my eyes bug out when I get a last minute Christmas card from someone I didn’t have on my list! A quick scramble to reciprocate. Pick the right card. Cross my fingers that I have stamps left. Rush to the post office dropbox (yes, they were closed for the day) and get it in the mail!

So I try my best not to have a meltdown when planning last minute parties or get-togethers.

These Tropical Cocktail Wings look like you went to a lot of trouble but in reality are ready in less than 30 minutes!

I keep a bag of frozen wings handy for when Tom’s football buddies drop over to watch the game. Wings are so versatile, right? Hot wings, BBQ wings, Garlic Parmesan and so on.

Coconut milk for the dredge and pineapple juice in the glaze will send your mouth on a tropical vacation! Don’t forget to toast the coconut!

Sweet, Tropical Cocktail Wings satisfy wing lovers wanting something different. Of course you can still include the old standbys too!
